• CFA Descartes main goal is to lead their apprentices to success. Erasmus+ participants who obtained an international position or pursued post gratduate studies after the mobility program become models. By sharing their experience, they give self-confidence to the other CFA apprentices. • Supporting the teachers in their training role. Most of them come from the Business world and are convinced that speaking languages and being open to international mobility is fundamental to succeed in the current business climate. CFA involvement in Erasmus help them to motivate their students. • Increasing partnership with apprenticeship companies. Providing apprentices able to work on an international level is important for their international partner companies such as Renault, Peugeot, Orange, Eurodisney.
CFA Descartes provides training in apprenticeships for post baccalaureate students. It also acts as the main apprenticeship partner for University Gustave Eiffel. CFA Descartes is one of the main Ile de France CFA and the first one in Seine et Marne. In 2013 we took part in the mobility program Eurostart created by Ile de France Regional Council with the support of Leonardo European mobility program. When Eurostart stopped we decided to launch our own Erasmus+ mobility project in order for our post apprentices to still benefit from a long term professional work placement in an anglo-saxon country. CFA Descartes mission is to encourage success and welcome students from different social environments and with various academic levels. “We do our outmost so that our students achieve a quality diploma , are able to quickly get a job or pursue postgraduate studies. We want to train them to become good professionals and European citizens ». The Erasmus+ European mobility program strongly contributes to this.
