Objectives

The objective of European mobility and cooperation activities is twofold: to professionalise and internationalise the students' career paths in a professional partnership with an operational purpose. Participation in such a European programme therefore reinforces and fleshes out the project of our school, which is constantly seeking to open up the cultural and linguistic horizons of its students by offering them an individual course adapted to their career plans. The content of our project serves both the professional requirements of the diploma reference system and the linguistic and cultural objectives and cultural objectives required by the European construction. This project makes sense because it meets the needs described above and aims to achieve the following objectives: -To reinforce the practice of languages in a professional context and in a host family, -to develop professional skills in a European company -to learn about another culture to develop professional skills in a European company, - to learn about another culture, - to increase the autonomy and responsibility of the students: an opportunity for European mobility essential for entry into working life or favourable to post-baccalaureate studies.

Background

We have a long tradition of offering traineeships abroad. It seems essential to us that our young people are offered this opportunity as part of their work experience. Our school is a multi-purpose high school which offers vocational, technological and general training. The first two have compulsory periods of work experience in companies as part of their school curriculum. Some of these periods are formative, others are certificative. Our objective and our desire, as stated in the school project, is to do everything in our power to enable our young people to discover another socio-professional environment in another country and to live there for three to four weeks. This is the context of our request: to be able to present the advantages of a mobility abroad to our students and to be able to offer it to those who wish to live this experience.
