With this project, we aimed to answer several issues of our territory and our schools, that we identified at the occasion of a collective diagnosis that laid the basis of our European Development Plan. Through mobility, the main expected impacts were to strengthen: - Employability of VET learners, through the projection outside their daily environment, the discovery of other professionnal practices and the improvement of their language level - Capacity of VET to continue to higher education, both in terms of adaptability and motivation - Equality in chances, enabling all to access international mobility through lifting the (financiancial, psychological, organisational...) brakes - Attractivity of our VET trainings (in a context of lack of work force in the targeted vocational sectors), through the development of skills of staff and the innovation enabled by the exchange of practices - Openness on the world of VET learners and staff in order to reduce the existing tendancy to stay between oneselves, especially in rural areas.
In 2019, agriculture schools of the CNEAP Hauts-de-France network have decided to give priority to the development of international mobility of learners and staff so as to contribute to one of their 5 missions untrusted by the law: international cooperation and openness on the world. They have collectivelly chosen to start a mobility consortium in order to gather their strengths and implement together mobility projects aiming to the development of the students, the staff and the schools. VET mobility was new for almost all schools and the support provided by the consortium was necessary in order to implement mobilities up to the quality standards of Erasmus+ programme.
