We wanted to create motivating activities for students that give meaning to their training, that open them to the world and that gives them the opportunity to live a group experience in a foreign country. This project also aimed to raise their awareness and prepare them to become European citizens and thus be able to engage in future European opportunities that would present themselves to them, as part of an empowerment process.
We want to develop and implement pedagogical strategies that mobilize students in need of motivation, accompany our students in a process of openness to others. In addition, international openness is one of the strong axes of the educational project of the Sacré-Cœur La Salle establishment. This project started following an Erasmus mobility of teachers from the Lycée la Arboleda, the Spanish partner institution, which we had contacted via the embassy. The profile, the technical and professional courses in home automation and audio visual, of our establishment interested them. Following our meeting during the teacher mobilities, we imagined and wrote the 'modding PC' project jointly with the teaching team of the host institution. *Modding PC (in English "tunning") refers to all the additions and decorations, both internal to the case and external, aimed at changing the appearance and skin of a personal computer.
