The goal of the project was to help other organizations join the MOBinov20 program and to implement high quality activities in a coordinated way. Operationally, we paid special attention to mobilize new institutions, more backward in mobility projects, to ultimately reach many more young people with fewer opportunities. Very often, they are located in rural areas or in towns and villages less connected to transport networks and cultural and leisure offers. Thus, we raised awareness of new establishments prior to the application to propose that they join the MOBinov20 program, using the Region's coordination experience and the good practices of our most experienced members in setting up projects as arguments. The size of the consortium was relevant in a normal context, outside the health crisis. We have been in constant contact with experienced members able to increase the number of projects, while ensuring that we provide close support to members who have not submitted applications to previous programs.
The candidature of the Hauts-de-France Region is part of a strong political will to allow more vocational training students to access a professional mobility experience in Europe. The goal is also to integrate new establishments so that they can become players in learning mobility. To do this, the Region relies on its experience in coordinating the MOBinov program, offering a map of the territorial areas involved and those more backward on mobility projects. The Hauts-de-France Region wishes to make "European mobility for young people" a major focus of the career pathway for vocational training students. It has included this major axis in its International Relations strategy voted on June 29, 2017. The Region brings together its skills in economic development, international relations and educational policies to facilitate the development of learning mobility projects. The MOBinov program is best suited to the needs of young people in Hauts-de-France to help them develop new skills in a European professional setting.
