For staff mobility: We wanted exchanges of practices to be implemented with our partner, which provides training in the field of health and child care. We also wanted the teacher in mobility to be able to spend part of his or her mobility close to the pupils on placement, in order to accompany them and to be able to carry out the evaluation visits in the company at the end of the placement. For the students, we wanted one of the placements in their curriculum (placement in the field of early childhood) to be carried out in a nursery in Scotland (nursery located on the campus of our partner New College Lanarkshire).
This project aims to continue of the deployment of our European development plan at the level of vocational training in our institution. This project aims to organise two types of mobility: a mobility of personnel and a short term mobility of students. For staff mobility, the objective is to allow exchanges on professional practices around training in the field of health, offered in our institution and in that of our partners in Finland or Scotland. The participants wish to travel to a foreign partner for a teaching and observation mission. The aim is to understand the pedagogical and didactic methods used in the Finnish or Scottish models. The feedback will be disseminated within our teams and will inspire changes in our own training. The second objective, which is a priority in this second stage of the deployment of our European development plan, is the mobility of learners in the first vocational class (17 years old). The learners will go in pairs to carry out a three-week work placement in a childcare facility. These three weeks are an integral part of their vocational training and will allow the validation of professional skills from the training reference frame of the prepared diploma. The validation of these skills will be carried out by the tutor in the placement structure and by one of the teachers who will also be present on site, within the framework of staff mobility. The valorisation of staff mobility will aim to share within our educational community, experiences from other training models. The promotion of student mobility will show that it is possible for vocational school students to do a placement abroad. We hope that this successful experience will be a powerful vector for the promotion of this training course within and outside our school. The objective of the Call 2020 call was to continue staff mobilities but also to improve the first internship mobility for students in the ASSP (Health Care and Child Care)
