Based on this first phase of learning mobility, the PERFORMHAND project consists of: - Develop the European skills of La Bulle Bleue and position La Bulle Bleue in a European network of inclusive structures for artists with disabilities. - Develop the ESAT form towards a more inclusive organizational structure in the professional performing arts environment. - To open up diversified possibilities for training support and in the employment of artists with disabilities. - Create in Montpellier a platform of professional with a national vocation which constitutes a place of resources to support people with disabilities to create or develop artistic projects, to offer training for artists and for people who can accompany them, to develop a research dimension to better understand the phenomena at work in the processes of inclusion, to act on the ecosystem of the professional sector.
LaBulleBleue (LBB) has developed for 10 years a theater company of actors and technicians with disabilities within the framework of a specialized establishment of help through work (ESAT) managed by the association of PEP34. This mobility project is an essential step in the development of La Bulle Bleue. We want to modify our French approach historically designed on specific devices for people with disabilities, in particular the ESAT for adult work. Thanks to the contributions of this mobility, we will develop our institutional systems, the practices of our support professionals and therefore, ultimately, the professionalization paths of people with disabilities with a view to greater social and professional inclusion. A first European project (strategic partnership) within the framework of ERASMUS + CLAP HANDS allowed us to discover artistic practices carried out by people with disabilities, to understand the difficulties they had encountered and how they were able to overcome them. It seemed essential to us to extend and deepen this first approach through specific work with partners from the performing arts sector, directly confronted with the problems of professionalization of artists with disabilities. Our needs are to explore the different models (economic, organizational, artistic, etc.) implemented by professional artistic projects with artists with disabilities in our European partners. We want to develop a national and European professional network. This dynamic will also make it possible to develop the European dimension of the La Bulle Bleue and ADPEP34 project. Depending on the conclusions, we plan to extend the partnership with the European structures encountered, with a larger project.
