This project was part of the school scheme concerning the achievement of all the pupils and allowing them: - to improve their language proficiency, their openness, their ability to adapt, their personal and professional autonomy, their confidence and self-esteem, - to enhance the image of vocational training by showing their knowledge and skills. The main goals of the work placements were to join a foreign work team, adapt to a new culture, use daily English or German language, observe how a foreign company works, its specific features and its structure. As for the teachers, the aim was: - to have access to a European training course, - to compare their practices with professionals, - to increase their motivation by developing new pedagogical approaches.
The Erasmus+ KA102 “Glücksklee-Shamrock II project” of Flora Tristan Vocational School in Services and Aeronautics in Camblanes offered Bac Pro final-year pupils from the three European-English and Franco-German sections as well as vocational education teachers a mobility in Ireland and Germany. This project followed on from the partnership with LXI-Language Xchange Ireland and the creation of one in Germany. It allowed to strengthen the renown of the school in its European dimension under the Euroscol label and reinforce a cohesion of the three sections of Baccalauréat Professionnel (Aeronautics, Retailing, Catering and Food Service) on both sites of the school (Aerocampus and Camblanes sites).
