Objectives

At the end of this project, the school hoped to set up a permanent 3 to 5 day mobility programme for teachers and management staff as well as a 4-week mobility programme for pupils within the framework of a work placement in Europe. Its ambitions were to achieve several results: an increase in the language skills of pupils and teachers, the satisfaction of partners and the development of future partnerships. A calmer school climate and an increase in school results. The development of the European section and the strengthening of the attractiveness of the courses concerned. The implementation of this project aimed at improving the image of the school internationally and developing local and international partnerships. The aim was also to give international recognition to the school's professional logistics branch and to facilitate the professional integration of students at the end of their internship. It was also a first mobility experience for the school.

Background

The Haroun Tazieff high school chose to apply for mobility for its students with a view to opening up to the international scene and enabling its students to improve their foreign language skills. This project also aimed to set up experiments that would put in place a new pedagogy, one that is open to dialogue and an increased role for the student within the school. Its ambitions are those that have always been supported by the Haroun Tazieff high school, whose slogan is "Tazieff, I am there, I live it". The Tazieff meets Europe project aims to create an international dynamic for the students, particularly those in the European section. The ambition is to develop the internationalisation of the school and the setting up of European partnerships, to promote individual mobility abroad, to develop links with companies elsewhere in Europe but also to ensure the continuous training of the staff and a local training for the pupils.
