The main objective of this project was to improve the quality of vocational training on the field of youth work by proposing to learners pursuing the diploma BPJEPS and CPJEPS opportunities of personal and professional development through international mobility, and as well allow a european and international citizenship to arise among these future youth workers. Specifically, the objective was to allow each sending organisation from the consortium to send abroad in mobility at least one group of interns (at least 8 groups during the length of the project, with 8 interns minimum per group). Furthermore, some objectives were linked to the experimental dimension of the project and aimed at the quality and the durability of the action (to organise at least 7 meetings with referents in the sending organisations to tackle mutualisation and exchange of practises, to develop quality international partnerships in at least 4 european countries, to define more precisely to competences acquired during mobilities by the learners to better articulate the mobility with the objective of the trainings, to adapt, precise and validate the mobility path in coherence with the rhythm of each training from the evaluation of the mobilities)
The profession of youth worker is ever more concerned by the field of international and interculturality, and yet, the training centers of the region point out that the majority of their learners pursuing the diplomas BPJEPS and CPJEPS are not mobile and do not travel internationally. Upon this observation, in 2018, they formulated a request to the associations Hors Pistes and Eurocircle. The dynamics of “JEPS international” begins, with the objective of including international mobilities in the trainings proposed in the Region in the area of youth, actively supported by the French State through the directorate of DRDJSCS. In 2019, Hors Pistes and the 5 training centers involved as sending partners in the JEPS GO project were involved in a consortium VET Erasmus+ project coordinated by Eurocircle for staff mobilities "JEPSBOND", n°2019-1-FR01-KA102-061861. Hors Pistes acted then as an intermediate organisation, but were also involved in the global dynamics of the project (participation to the piloting committee, empowerment to coordinate a VET project). In 2020, two distinct consortiums are formed, Hors Pistes applied then for the JEPS GO project focusing on the trainings for future youth workers.
