This project concerns a consortium made up with 12 state-run vocational schools representing 17 training centres gathered all over the north of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. When the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region was set up in 1916, a number of changes had to be worked out, in terms of academic authority organization, support of mobility by the Ministry of Agriculture and by the Regional Counsil – The decision was made in 1918 to integrate an Erasmus+ VET consortium so as to be able to offer mobility opportunities to the pupils in secondary vocation education curricula. The ELANNA consortium was supported by the DRAAF (state authority in charge of agricultural education at a regional level) to harmonize the access to a european mobility all over the new territory of Nouvelle-Aquitaine by 2020. The objectives of this project were to develop mobility and the knowledge of the Erasmus+ programme towards all the VET schools mostly situated in rural areas, to share competences and good practice for the project management within the consortium and also to constitute and share a real network of host companies.
The ELANNA consortium applied for tis project in order to enhance the mobility activities initiated during their first project. In fact all the partners agreed to go on working together as their first project was successfully completed with an increasing number of mobility requests. Without the COVID crisis, the consotium should have implemented 100 % of the mobilities – therefore the partner vocational schools of the consortium really wished to reinforce the dynamic they had generated.
