Here are the objectives we set ourselves with the implementation of this project: For the students : - strengthen their linguistic and professional skills. - acquire better employability thanks to the valorization of their experience via the delivery of a Europass mobility - enrich themselves personally by gaining autonomy - strengthen their sense of belonging to Europe - become more tolerant by opening up to different cultural habits and practices In addition, for our high school: - improve the attractiveness of the establishment for students and thus recruit students motivated by openness to Europe - energize the teaching team by proposing projects that allow them to enrich their practices and their linguistic skills - strengthen the links between the two twin cities Bray and Bègles
We applied for this Erasmus+ project to perpetuate an opening to European mobility set up in 2014 for the two professional sectors (Bio-Industries of Transformation and Fashion and Clothing Professions.) of our high school, Lycée Vaclav Havel, in Bègles. The objective of this project was to foster European exchanges - on a human, professional and cultural level - by giving added value to the training of young people in vocational high schools thanks to a motivating and innovative project. The existence of a twinning between Bègles and Bray conditioned the choice of Ireland as the country of destination and the success of the Erasmus+ projects 2014 and 2016-2018, as well as 2018-2020 confirmed our choice of this destination. Past experiences having had a very positive impact on the students who were able to benefit from this mobility, we have chosen to continue to be able to offer this project to new learners by calling on the same partner.
