In implementing this project, we wanted to - continue and develop the approach undertaken in 2016, - to develop learners' and staff’s sense of European belonging and to develop their professional and personal skills, - be a major player in the training of young people in a European dimension, - be a school with innovative teaching methods geared to young people and put learners at the heart of projects, - be a key partner for companies so that they can find, at the end of the training courses, a young person confident, motivated, mobile and competent in the chosen professional field, - better respond to the local problem of job applications, - give a social dimension to mobility by reducing economic inequalities, by allowing young people who would not have the opportunity to acquire these professional experiences to open up avenues for further education or employment, - enable young people to overcome failure, - Allow staff to construct multidisciplinary sequences to mobilize a range of cultural, social, professional and linguistic skills.
Our school is labeled health and social care. One of our priorities is to train our learners to act as responsible professionals in their future lives. To do that, we have to diversify their practices and allow them to expand their skills. We want to prepare our learners to meet the expectations of professionals, especially in the European dimension of their activity. We have chosen to apply for this project in order to allow our learners and staff to perform mobilities in a foreign professional environment. We want each person who goes on mobility to develop their own skills that enable them to improve professionally and personally. We also wanted to strengthen our partnerships with European professionals and schools similar to ours. Indeed, by welcoming foreign partners (professionals or school) and by allowing young people and staff of our establishment to achieve mobility abroad with our partners, we are gradually becoming part of a European network.
