The required objectives were in conformity with the Erasmus+ program: -improve the skill and capacity level to be able to match to the job offers -improve the students’ mobility experiences -promote quality, innovation, excellency and globalization between organization -make language teaching and training better and focus on the intercultural diversity -promote a European mentality and modernize the education systems -reinforce the cooperation between partner countries.
The mobility program has existed at lycée du Golf, a vocational school in Dieppe since 2007. At the very beginning, students in Sales European section were the only ones to join the mobility program. The aim was to meet the demand of shopkeepers in Normandy who needed staff who knew how to welcome foreign customers. Because our school is committed to an international approach, we have obtained the renewal of our euroscol label (in September 2022),the mobility program has been open to all sections since 2017. It is true that sectors such as logistics and administration management are also in demand of staff or workers who know how to welcome a foreign road haulier, control a delivery, or fill out a form in English, but it was also necessary, in a spirit of fairness, for each student to benefit from this experience, which will give the students from vocational school autonomy and personal fulfilment. For the time being, only the Logistics, Management-Administration and Fashion and Clothing students have joined the project along with the students in Sales.
