Objectives

Each European mobility carried out by a French resident, named trainees in vocational training, offers added value in their professional career. It is an undeniable and vital contribution for people to be confronted with a new culture, a fresh eye and different problems. Through this project, the Crefad Loire proposed an innovative training offer for activities creation. However, two factors disrupted the distribution of mobility grants between the time the project was accepted and its end: - The departure of the activity creation project manager (October 2021). - The health crisis forced us to postpone the start date of the project and we accumulated more than 10 months of delay, hence a certain haste at the end of the project to encourage the trainees who had been preparing for leaving. Despite these changes, the project has had many positive effects on the trainees' career paths, but also on the recognition of Crefad Loire as a recognised player in international mobility in Loire departement.

Background

Crefad Loire is a non profit association which aims to valorise community education and to contribute at emancipating individuals. In addition, the association is a Qualiopi-certified vocational training organisation, which provides training courses. We welcome project leaders in the framework of our training courses for entrepreneuship and the opportunity to do an internship in Europe is very popular because it allows trainees to test an activity, to develop a network or to work on improving a foreign language. This is why, with 8 years of experience in sending vocational training trainees on internships in Europe from two to twelve weeks, we applied for this project to send 35 people on internships. The Covid crisis and the fact that people find difficult to project themselves after Covid period did not allow us to implement the project as initially planned, but we did manage to send 31 trainees out of the 35 initially planned.
