In order to professionalize our team, we draw up an annual training plan, at European and national level, for our staff. This 2022-22 plan focused on increasing our skills in terms of teaching (language training), management (communication, project management) and investing in new tools or media to support job seekers. For this project, we targeted the following objectives - to improve the tools for valuing and developing skills for the benefit of our learners - to improve our teaching methods with the emphasis on the autonomy of learners: whether through teaching methods that promote action or by aiming to develop an entrepreneurial spirit - aim for a level of English that allows for solid professional exchanges - increase the visibility and promotion of our organization and the Erasmus+ projects it runs - obtain tools for planning and managing a Partnership project. The aim of this project was to equip us with tools for our current practices but also to support us in our development.
Ici & Ailleurs is a training organization dedicated to language learning and international mobility. Located on the island of Reunion, we wish to participate in the development dynamics of this ultra-peripheral region, 10,000 kms from the European continent. We work mainly with job seekers from Reunion Island, with all the cultural and social diversity that makes up this mixed society. The unemployment rate is the highest in France. Our training activities are intended to stimulate the public, to open up to the outside world and to broaden opportunities. Our training courses aim to develop transversal and linguistic skills that open up new possibilities for learners. Our activities have developed over the years: running mobility and partnership projects, the support of organizations in their Erasmus+ projects, the hosting of European learners and professionals and the organization of our language learning or improvement courses. We are literally in an internationalization strategy and for this, our team must become professional at international level.
