The profile of the people welcomed in our different services/units and the contexts of their consumption are constantly changing. Networking is an undeniable asset that increases the quality of interventions. Moreover, the French public policies concerning addictology (Ministries of Health, Justice, Education, Youth and Sport) require field operators to develop "evidence-based practice" and the implementation of good practices. Although an active member of the Addiction Federation in France, the association must explore innovative and validated practices in Europe. Through professional exchanges at the European level, our association goes on enriching and developping its intervention methods and practices aiming at innovating validated experiences, included in other countries. Through the European mobility courses, our association tends to promote professional development and optimize knowledge and know-how of employees in solving problem through promoting research in addictology.
Since 2007, the CEID-Addictions, has been engaged in a process of exchanges and training via job-shadowing organised in European ONGs in the fields of addiction and mental health. This project aims at going on and consoloidaiting the European partnership of our association, thus promoting the dynamic of innovation and enrichment of the practices of our multidisciplinary teams and the improvement of the services provided to the users. The core competence of our association is the psycho-educational and medical support of people presenting addictive behaviour, the social and professional integration work of people with disabilities and precariousness, improving their quality of life. Becouse of the constant changes as well as the new phenomena of consumption and the rapid diffusion of new substances in the European geopolitic framework of drugs, the association needs to be able to adapt to the needs and cultural characteristics of the people and supports them.
