Objectives

- To update and enrich the methods of transmitting know-how relating to the restoration and maintenance of traditional ships. - To update the methods of transmitting knowledge relating to maritime heritage. - To deepen the involvement of stakeholders in the management of projects and the daily life of the association

Background

Aventure Pluriel is an association based in the Alpes Maritimes and aims to safeguard and promote maritime heritage. Faced with learners with varied profiles, it wishes to enrich its learning methods and practices with the Maritime Museum of L'Escala in Spain (Catalonia), which has an innovative model for maritime heritage. This training has enabled the mobility of 25 members of Aventure pluriel's staff, adults who work as maritime heritage animators, shipyard supervisors and members of the board of directors within Aventure pluriel. These 5-day mobilities aimed to increase the skills of these actors in their activities of promoting and transmitting know-how relating to the construction and renovation of traditional ships and in the methods that enable them to involve their stakeholders in the management of their project.
