Objectives

Two main objectives have motivated our application process : 1. To enrich the practices of the participating organisations' staff around the themes of Gender equality; Inclusion of people with disabilities; and Circular Economy. More specifically, we wanted to enable the participants to : - better understand the way these issues are taken into account elsewhere in Europe, - identify innovative ways for tackling these issues, - identify methods and approaches that could be used in projects conducted in France. 2. To enhance knowledge on the European Union's functioning and to reinforce their capacity to access to European funding. More precisely, we wanted to help the participants : - better understand the European institutions and policies, - to acquire knowledge on the structure, objectives and rules of the European Union programmes - to identify opportunities among European funding likely to support the organisations of the consortium.

Background

Since 2019, CRESS PACA coordinates and leads 3 working groups (Disability, Circular Economy, Gender Equality). They are all three composed of volunteers from the staff of the CRESS PACA's member organisations. Common needs have gradually emerged within these 3 working groups. The first one concerned the need to put their works in perspective with the actual and future European challenges (European legislation, European policies, European funding 2021-2027). The second was the need to encounter other European organisations implementing inspiring practices on one of the three topics, in a dynamic of appropriation and reinforcement of staff skills. To provide a concrete response to the needs of the 3 working groups, CRESS PACA has positioned itself to coordinate a consortium in order to mobilize the key action 1 of the ERASMUS + program and thus allow on the one hand the mobility of staff involved in each working group and on the other hand, to facilitate the mobility of partner organizations in their desire to exchange practices on a European level.
