With the implementation of the project, we wanted to modernize and Europeanize MC Entity (first project as a candidate structure). It was a first challenge to take up. We wanted to have a better knowledge of project writing and implementation; to later write more ambitious projects. We also wanted to contribute to the development of other structures, share knowledge and tools, participate in the dynamism of education systems in Europe, make our members understand that after experiences as a participant (Erasmus + projects with other associations), it is possible to become a coordinating structure. We wanted to offer MC Entity members learning mobility, to bring back best practices. By promoting Erasmus +, we offered to acquire and develop the 8 key skills of Europe and significant professional experiences. This rise in skills favors MC Entity, the transmission of knowledge for other structures. We also wanted to develop our key areas: • Project management, • Entrepreneurship, • Personal development, • EU knowledge/Citizenship, • Media/communication.
MC Entity is a small artistic & cultural structure which has the ambition to develop and pursue its activities by participating in the European dynamic. We wrote this first KA104 project because we wanted to reach a higher professional level of skills by learning from other European structures. Improving our activities means bringing added value to the European community, growing together. Upgrading staff skills is essential to develop our activities, multiply projects, offer new trainings, transmit our knowledge and experience, involve more people in our local and European projects. We particularly wanted to develop our skills in setting up and managing European projects, to raise awareness of the learning opportunities possible with Erasmus+, and more specifically observational learning (job shadowing). We wanted to know the specificities of each partner, their project department, share a network of contacts and live learning experiences in new contexts. We have chosen 3 very different structures and environments (urban city, rural environment, coastal village).
