CEDRESS 2020 – implemented with continuity since 2014, aims at maintaining and developing transnational mobility programs for people in career transition and more specifically for professional training participants – but uncommitted in the preparation of a certificate or diploma - monitored by public and private career guidance bodies. The main idea is to enhance the professionalisation of these beneficiaries while giving them means to improve their linguistic and professional skills and their professional capacities in a working environment. It also aims at participating in the development of competitive professional profiles in line with the evolution of the local, national and European labour market. Another main objective of this project and its predecessors was to boost IERF’s activities towards the coordination of mobility schemes in the framework of Erasmus+ consortium. This leads to increase mobility opportunities towards new participants, such as apprentices, post-apprentices, and people in “professional qualification contract” and impulse the internationalisation of pathways and training centres.
The Institut Européen Recherche et Formation is a training centre with statutory objectives which were quite innovative within the framework of the French and European educational context in 1994, year of its creation. We aim at innovating orientation and training practises and incorporating international mobility experience as qualifying paths to enhance the employability of groups looking to enter the job market. This was the main objective of our projects managed within the framework of the Leonardo da Vinci program, first with the French Employment Agency in 1995, and then for our own projects from 2009. With the program CEDRESS 2020 we aim to make these paths sustainable and implement bigger projects through the development of partnerships between multidisciplinary bodies and agencies, such as education, career guidance and access to employment, development of public policies. This will lead to the development of new mobility opportunities, and pedagogical engineering paths aimed to all kinds of public in their integration training path.
