For this 2020-2022 project, we wanted to maintain the momentum of offering European or international mobility to as many young people in training with us as possible, in line with the operational objectives set out in our strategic development plan: increasing mobility for all our target groups and the number of European apprentices, developing transnational training courses and expanding our network of partners. Thus, each year, we aim to enable up to 1000 apprentices to go on a 3-week group mobility trip, systematically accompanied by their vocational trainer (110 in total); to support more than 230 post-apprentices within the framework of a one-year individual mobility in Europe; to encourage the long-term mobility of apprentices by enabling a growing number of young people to go on a 3- to 12-month consecutive trip - maintaining, when possible, the logic of alternating work experience in the host country; to set up 5 2-week technical internships for a total of 66 young people
Long-term mobility has always existed in our association and the year of work experience abroad is an integral part of the Tour de France training. Since 2011, it has been particularly encouraged and in total more than 7,300 young people have been able to benefit from this exceptional opportunity. Since 2004, we have also enabled more than 17,600 apprentices to take part in a 3-week work placement in one of the EU countries, in all trades (Industry, Construction, Catering, Flexible Materials, etc.). The aim of this application was to pursue our internationalisation strategy in order to enable every young person in training in our association to benefit from at least one European mobility experience in a training centre or company.
