Our internationalization plan had five objectives: To enter the Erasmus Pro programme more intensely by stimulating the long mobility of apprentices during their training courses and in post-training. These experiences provide strong, transferable and sustainable skills and abilities. We also wanted to significantly integrate the ECVET system and participate in the formal recognition of learning acquired during mobility. Developing European citizenship by participating in e-twinning projects seemed to us to be an interesting lever in the development and change of perception of learning a foreign language among apprentices. To this end, involving, engaging, stimulating professionals, apprenticeship teachers and tutors in the European opening of our Training Centre seems essential to us. Encouraging their mobility so that they can experience for themselves the contribution of an internship experience in Europe, training them in the reception of European trainees brings real credit to our project. Finally, our last intention was to become a European employment/training platform known and recognized in France and Europe.
Our apprentice training centre, Maison Familiale Rurale, has opened its doors to Europe and has been promoting European mobility since 1981. Pioneers of these out-of-home experiences for apprentices, we entered the Leonardo da Vinci programme in 1996, then Erasmus + in 2014. Nowadays, the career path is in full transformation, the valorization of this training path requires the recognition of European activities and experiences of this public. This project marks our European will and our intention to promote the internationalization of our training center; Convinced that the sectors of activities for which we train, need to find an attractive, modern and efficient image, we believe that the European opening brings them a real added value The path of vocational training is a path of excellence, driven by the mobility of apprentices and professionals it establishes its reputation as a dynamic training, relevant and open to the world. We are convinced that the internationalisation of our training centre is spreading among the French and European partners and promoting the school/company rapprochement necessary for employment
