Objectives

The general objectives of the consortium were to develop European mobility in a qualitative and quantitative way, to strengthen networking, to perpetuate partnerships and to be open to other practices. More specifically, the first objective was to develop and enhance the participants' skills: professional, linguistic, intercultural and transversal skills/active citizenship for young people in short and long term mobility; analysis of training systems, educational, pedagogical and professional practices for adults in order to improve the quality of training. The 2nd objective was to develop or strengthen partnerships with European structures. The third objective was to guarantee quality mobilities by coordinating, structuring and organising the various stages of implementation. The 4th objective was to contribute to the development and implementation of new and/or innovative practices, including ErasmusPro mobility for the 3rd consecutive year. The 5th objective was to continue to improve the communication and dissemination strategy of the consortium at different levels (local, regional, national, European and international).

Background

The Maisons Familiales Rurales (MFR) are family associations under the law of 1901, part of the social and solidarity economy as well as popular education, most often located in rural areas. The Fédération Régionale (FR) des MFR Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes (AURA) has been piloting consortia through European mobility programs for many years (2002). In 2018, the RF and 10 experienced MFRs were accredited with the EFP charter, then 7 other MFRs were chartered in 2019 and 3 in 2020. Through their association project, these 20 MFR charters of the regional network affirm their aim to make European and international citizenship a strategic axis. Mobility is therefore included in the training strategies in order to ensure coherence between the consideration of public policies (5th mission of Agricultural Education and mission of a CFA according to the 2018 apprenticeship reform), the political orientation of the MFRs (in connection with their CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) label) and the implementation of mobility. The European partners contribute to the success of the project by hosting young people or adults in their structures on a permanent basis.
