This partnership project includes vocational institutions in Normandy and in Andalucia. Full time students or apprentices and vocational trainees are studying in those institutions. We can add that 2 "dormant" partners, a Finnish one and a German one would like to collaborate and follow the activities giving some help too. But beause of the situation, the Covid-19 crisis, they didn't want to be totally engaged n the process. All these institutions have worked together in mobility projects for many years. They have developped commercial, marketing, sales, econoomics and management cursus which explains the topic of our project : the creation of a mini company. The core of the project "Learning by entrepreuneurship", a process widely developped in our Region through Epa-Normandie is dedicated to vocational schools so that students are enhanced to discover the world of companies concretly. Our aim is to allow young people from the same cursus to share work methods and to widen their competences to reach the level needed by the diploma but also to acquire some soft skills which could be an added value on their CV to enter the world market. Our wish is also to creat a mini company on an international level. The participants are teachers concerned by the fields of the project and studetns from this cursus. They all study at a vocational medium level. Altogether 20 adults and 40 students will be involved. They all will have a specific task in the company and will collaborate according to the activities. The participants to the meeting will be chosen according to their task and needs. Moreover the other people help in the organisation of the project. Their participation is a sign of the development of the European activities of the institutions. The different activities aim to increase ths valorisation of the company activities. Participants will work in workshops and they also will use communication tools (like internet or video conferences) like in a real company. The meetings will formalise the missions, participants will have the opportunity to meet and decide the future directives. The exhanges through e-twinngin platform are very important, they will help to develop the collaboration between the participants. The collaboration work with companies which support the project is very important. Two key moments will be at the center of activities: the Rouen Fair which will allow the project to be presented and defend the mini-enterprise locally and regionally and the participation in the mini-enterprise competition which will also enhance the project. Concerning the global organisation, guidelines will be edited. Pilot group composed of 2 representatives of each institutions will also be in charge of management of the project and will check the activities and the results. The expecting results concern on the one hand the learning outcomes for the students. Those outcomes are validated through diploma. On the other hand soft skills will be considered by questionaires. The results of the company economically speaking will show the succes of the project. The major impact is the integration of those students who were not involved in European activities before. We hope to create a new mini company, an international company, because mini companies are short living, they last during the project period. In the long term, we will follow the students to know how they have integrate this experience. Our objectives are defined in the priorities chosen, namely the development of entrepreneurship, the use of digital tools and above all the possibility of putting into practice basic skills without forgetting the linguistic contribution. Another point is that the organisations are involved in regional, national and European networks which will give the opportunity to widen the activities and include other partners.
This exchange project brings together 2 training organizations from Normandy and Andalusia. The audiences are high school students in vocational and general education. The 2 "sleeping" partners, one Finnish and the other German, were not ultimately involved in the project for reasons of timing and health context. The two partners are active in European exchanges but the Spanish partner has no real competence in such a partnership project. However, they train in the commercial, sales, economics and management sectors, hence the theme of the project: collaborative work via a mini-company. The principle of the project is "Undertake to learn", (www.epanormandie.fr) a process widely developed in our Region in training organizations to encourage learners to discover the business world in a concrete way. Our objective is to allow young people with the same training to share working methods on a European scale and to broaden their skills in order to reach the level required by the diploma but also to acquire the "soft skills" which will be able to be valued when they enter the labor market. Our desire is to create a mini-company with an international activity. The principles set out in the application are consistent with the implementation. The participants are both teaching staff in the subjects concerned by the project and young people in training in the sectors described above. The staff for the whole project is about 20 adults and 40 young people. All had a specific role in the company and were able to collaborate according to the activities set up. The people participating in the learning activities or meetings have been designated according to their role and needs. In addition, non-teaching staff contribute to the good organization of the project. Their participation makes it possible to open up the establishments to Europe in a more significant way. The proposed activities aim to enhance all the missions of a company. They took place both internally in the form of workshops but using communication tools such as emails and video conferences widely developed in companies. The E-twinning platform used initially did not allow exchanges to be optimized and was not taken up in the second part of the project. Virtual collaboration was instead done through shared drives. Meetings are planned in order to formalize the actions, to allow the actors to meet and to define the main lines of work. The rapprochement with the professional environment is at the heart of the system thanks to the support provided by local companies. Two highlights were experienced: the Rouen Fair during which the project was presented and defended locally and regionally and participation in the mini-enterprise competition which also promoted the project. Concerning the global organization, we respected the implementation of specifications as well as a COPIL including two representatives of each organization to manage the project. The results, despite the difficulties encountered, allowed the young participants to acquire skills, validated by the diplomas since the French used this experience in the context of the Chef d'Oeuvre (compulsory subject for the vocational baccalaureate). Despite the health situation and the periods of non-activity, we were able to find solutions. The idea of a service company to provide help to isolated people thanks to tools to facilitate the use of digital (tablet, internet) has received good press. The main impact will have been the integration of sections not previously involved in the European opening project and the creation of a new mini-enterprise because mini-enterprises are ephemeral and only last for the duration of a project. The long-term objective will have been to follow the young participants to find out their future directions and measure the impact. Our objectives are defined in the priorities chosen, namely the development of entrepreneurship, the use of digital tools and above all the possibility of putting into practice basic skills without forgetting the linguistic contribution. Moreover, insofar as the partners are involved in networks at the regional, national or European level, we will be able to continue the experiments by widening the actors. Already, exchanges with the Spanish partner are planned.
