Objectives

The "Culture in the box" project is a European exchange project inviting young Italians and Hungarians. The participants were between 13 and 15 years old and were invited to build a common project through construction and artistic workshops. This exchange took place from August 2 to 12, 2021 in a small rural village in the department of Orne called Radon. In addition to the activities, the young people had the opportunity to visit the territory that welcomed them, to practice sports activities but also to go for walks in the countryside. Throughout this stay, young people had the opportunity to exchange, share and discover new cultures, new ways of living and new friendships. Through this project, we have sought to meet the following objectives: - ensure that young people animate their territory and anchor them in their roots through the interpersonal and intergenerational transmission of knowledge and skills - develop their European citizen awareness of global issues and involve them in the search for solutions by mastering the acquisition of technical knowledge - open up to intercultural relations by sharing these skills and knowledge with other young people from other cultures - participate in rural development through the impact on the territory of European reality as a motor of social vitality We can sleep and already see the positive repercussions on the territory through the participation of the inhabitants in the life of the book boxes.
