Youth exchanges are one of the most requested major actions, supported by the Erasmus Plus program. The intercultural learning of young people is one of the main educational aspects of youth exchanges. The quality of the intercultural learning process depends to a large extent on the skill set that group leaders must have. However, very often, we notice that, in the context of "real" learning, young people are neither supported nor animated by the "youth leaders", because of the lack of skills. This meeting aims to provide answers to youth workers who have already acted as a youth leader in a youth exchange and who have experienced tensions and conflicts within an international team of youth leaders during a youth exchange, who felt a lack of skills to manage conflicts within international youth groups and turn them into a learning experience, who felt a lack of skills to facilitate a process of group dynamics as a tool and basis for quality intercultural learning. This meeting is also open to all those who did not know appropriate tools to support and provoke intercultural learning in a group of young people. The general objective of the training is therefore as follows: - Reflect, explore and acquire methods for youth activities and work tools, thanks to the personal and theoretical contributions of other youth workers involved in intercultural communication projects. We have retained the following operational objectives: 1- To allow the participants to question themselves as to their personal cultural identity; 2- Allow the participants to understand the concepts related to the themes / subjects of cultural diversity (stereotypes, prejudices, manipulation of culture, etc.); 3- Explore the qualities necessary for young people to cope with diversity and intercultural encounters in everyday life, and how to encourage them; 4- Explore youth exchanges as a tool for improving the intercultural skills of young people; 5- Get inspired to carry out future projects via the Erasmus + program on topics related to cultural diversity / intercultural learning 6- Allow participants to acquire concrete tools and methods for further work in this area. This project will see the participation of 31 youth workers from 8 programs countries and will take place in Noisy-le-Grand from 07 to 15 SEPTEMBER May 2020
