In order to shape youngsters’ understanding of multicultural society youth workers need set of skills and knowledges how to deal with intercultural learning in their everyday work. Since one of the best ways to learn is through experience (according to Kolb’s experiental learning theory 1984), this training is designed to give youth workers opportunity to work and learn in intercultural environment,so after reflecting on their experience they would be able to use intercultural learning in their everyday work. Beard and Wilson have brought out in “The power of experiental learning” (2002) the importance of interaction between learner and the learning environment, which creates the whole of the development through reflection. Hence, this training is giving youth workers opportunity to experience intercultural learning, reflect on it, take the experience back to their local communities and consciously lead the intercultural learning in their local reality. Main objective of the training course is to raise partner countries’ youth workers’ understanding and ability to facilitate intercultural learning processes in youth work field through non-formal education methods. In order to achieve the objective this training has supportive aims, which are the base for the sessions: o Develop conception of multicultural society and create connections between local and international environments; o Try-out via simulations, discuss via debates, share in different forms of discussions and reflect through personal and group reflection methods about intercultural experiences in order to understand intercultural learning; o To enhance the skills of participants to design and facilitate intercultural learning activities for promoting diversity by developing sessions containing multicultural values that can later on be transferred to local realities.
