The objective of this project was to raise awareness among the inhabitants of the three municipalities paired to a better understanding of waste management and then to carry out an optimal sorting. Rasinari, Sebechleby and Civrieux are three municipalities of the EEC, so the regulations that determine the management of household waste are the same. It should be noted, however, that there are important differences: the behaviour of the inhabitants and the progress of the implementation of waste treatments. The genesis of the project originates from the stay made by a group of young people from civrieux accompanied by adults in Rasinari. Our young people were surprised and shocked to see that their young Romanian friends get rid of the candy packets from soda cans anywhere, and neglected the few garbage cans arranged in the streets. The river that runs through the beautiful village of Rasinari was also used as a garbage dump. It should be noted that the young people who had participated in this trip were mostly members of the municipal youth council. They also took an active part every year for the nature clean-up day (September 17 this year). They shared their bad discovery with the young animator of the commune. The town hall and the twinning committee then proposed to make an Erasmus dossier on the theme of household waste management. The file was put together in collaboration with the leaders and young people of the three communes. The objectives are at three levels: - inform and train the young participants of the three cities on waste management, how, by whom, or ? - compile a file with all the documents on management with exchanges between countries - that young people be the spokesmen to their comrades - that they make proposals to their elected representatives to modify, improve management - that the documents compiled and created be widely distributed to the inhabitants - that an information evening be offered in the three municipalities with video of the week meeting, discussions and delivery of flyers and other documents
