Objectives

We want to pursue a work and a reflection process in progress since 2018 about cooperation with volunteers in the organizations, by carrying out this new edition of the training course project VolunTEAM. We want to go further on the topic of cooperation, but also to focus more this time on the specific question of welcoming volunteers with fewer opportunities, and give some tools to the organizations to favour a real inclusion approach in the organizations. To make volunteers' investment in the organizations successful and lasting, it's important to establish cooperation, to make the collective meaningful, to create in the organizations an atmosphere and a structure allowing the volunteers to be more considered and integrated in the teams, to have a clearly identified role and space to open up in an autonomous way. We chose to collaborate again with some international partner from the 2018 edition to enrich the ongoing work, but also with new partners which could bring skills ans experiences on this topics of cooperation and work with youngsters with fewer opportunities, and expand an already organised network. The main objective of our project is to enrich the knowledge and skills of the participants on the topic of cooperation with volunteers, to reinforce the organizations' capacities to "make group" and favour inclusion. The specific objectives of our project are: - To understand how to deal with volunteers’ motivations, to think about their welcoming and integration in the organizations; - To reinforce the organizations' capacity to welcome volunteers with fewer opportunities and mentor them; - To favour by new tools and methods a deeper teamwork and adapt it to specific volunteers' profiles; - To favour collective intelligence, collective decison-making process, democratic organisation inside the structures, in particular based on sociocracy concept; - To promote the feeling of belonging to the society (at a local and european level) and active citizenship.
