Objectives

In a world where technological tools are taking up more and more space, where art is virtualized and where physical violence remains a serious social problem, especially among young people, it seems to us very important, in the youth and social work, to work on a deeper, healthier and simpler relationship with the body and the others. Through contemporary dance and theater, once rid of certain cumbersome social codes, we can allow everyone to express their emotions, their creativity, to satisfy their need for simple connection with other humans. Differences in ability and social background can disappear in favour of another relationship with one's body and with the other, one can develop his/her creativity and develop his/her self-confidence. This training has aimed at raising awareness of youth / social workers about the problem of the body, the management of emotions and inclusion in their practice. Tools based on contemporary dance and theater have been transmitted to the participants, which they can used transversely in any field of youth activity or social work. The principle of inclusion and its introduction, or its improvement, in their practice, was approached, reflected and integrated into the workshops they took part in and those they themselves imagined and experienced with an audience.
