By implementing this project, we would like to improve the quality of the organisations’ services and the youth workers’ skills, as well as young people’s active participation, so as to have a positive impact in our communities’ welfare. The European organisations and their youth workers will benefit by learning innovative tools and improving their competences to design successful and sustainable projects, with an international perspective, with which they can also help or inspire young people. The project aims to provide with The Dragon Dreaming very useful and comprehensive tools for individuals and entities, to transform their dreams and ideas, into successful, realistic and sustainable projects, that will have a positive impact in the parties involved: participating entities, their target groups, their communities and the Earth. This method was chosen since it compiles diverse, innovative, simple and easy tools, perspectives, dynamics, strategies and experiential exercises on how to maximise our creative potentials, create collaborative endeavours, establish goals and objectives, plan how to get into action and recognise our weak points, to better design inclusive and meaningful projects. This is why BIG BOSS (France) has decided to invite Novo Kulturno (Serbia), Be International (Czech Republic), AWA foundation (Poland), Permacultura Cantabria (Spain), Association Strive! (Croatia), Youth Active Association (Lithuania), ORIEL (Italy), Club Active (Estonia), PASOS (Spain), JASMA (Latvia) and Asociatia Explorator (Romania), Creativity Works Preston (UK) to join the “Youth creating opportunities together” project. 13 entities, working and learning together about the innovative Dragon Dreaming approach will form a closely collaborating network and become an inspiration, to one another, and to other organisations and individuals, who will learn about the project and its results, via the dissemination channels. The project’s partners want to be drivers of change in our societies and this project will allow them to design and carry out socially significant, economically viable and environmentally sustainable projects, that will motivate youth workers and young people. They will be able to enrich their projects with a new, strategic vision, broadening their curriculums and the knowledge and status of their organization. Their self-esteem and motivation levels will grow significantly. This project, addresses different and relevant needs of each participating organization, as well as the Erasmus+ programme objectives, specially expected for this Key Action, like: promoting an active participation, inclusion, basic entrepreneur skills against unemployment, fruitful partnerships with other countries’ entities and to improve the support of youth workers towards young people. Specific and measurable objectives of this project are: 1. To learn a new technique for the design of creative, collaborative and sustainable projects. 2. To acquire new tools to improve the employability, participation and motivation of the young people with whom we work, especially those in disadvantaged situations. 3. To provide strategic vision to our youth workers and trainers, so that they can contribute to improve our organisations. The specific learning goals of this project will contribute to the overall objective of the project, which is to improve our entities’ management, youth employability and participation, and the motivation of those in disadvantage.
