The Alliance's partner associations organize many forms of collective projects aimed at young people: international workcamps, local projects, youth exchanges, European training, collective volunteering projects ... Concordia's local partners, like the socio-educational structures, also organize collective activities with their young people, especially through workcamps including heritage restoration. In order to have quality projects that achieve their objectives, it is necessary to train the leaders and the project managers, both on the management of an intercultural group and on the technical and manual part of projects. Concordia's experience in this area is to be valued because the association already organizes group life training and technical training in heritage restoration for its leaders. This project aimed to combine these two types of training in order to discuss the best practices of each partner and to increase the quality of youth projects through the training of leaders. The main objective of this training was to contribute to the development and improvement of the facilitation and leadership skills of facilitators in intercultural projects. The specific objectives were : - To analyse and understand the different techniques and issues in the field of animation of intercultural projects of popular education. - To analyse the local heritage and its historical context in order to encourage the emergence of a conscious and active citizenship in a spirit of peace between peoples. - To encourage links between project leaders and create bridges between their respective missions. - To share experiences, knowledge and working methods in order to improve the quality of projects and harmonise practices within the Alliance network.
