Objectives

Our main goal is to equip the young people and the organisations participating with new tools and wider knowledge on the issues and the possibles ways to combat youth unemployment. With our partners and some of our youngsters we build a strong program with 2 main segments: Finding a Job and Creating a Job. These two segments may look completely different and not connected at all at first sight, but it is exactly the opposite, because if you know how to present yourself in the best possible way and get a job, then presenting your idea and developing a business idea won't be that hard either. We find them strongly interconnected and therefore, we have decided together with them to take that course of action and implement them both. In our plans it is already set continuation of this project in 2 new projects which will separate these two fields and in the first project idea we are going to focus only on the youth unemployment and how to combat that issue, by taking real actions on local regional level and in the second one we are going to put a strong emphasis on the development of a business idea and the ways to fund it. The objectives of the project are : 1. To increase their: knowledge in the field of youth unemployment; CV and cover letter writing skills; knowledge in the field of business idea development (market research, preparation of business plan, preparation of marketing strategy, etc.); knowledge of the Erasmus + program and how they can benefit from it in their future personal and professional development; active citizenship; 2. Improving: how they present themselves during job interviews; their presentation to the public; their oratorical and negotiation skills and defending their position; their critical and analytical thinking; 3. Learning: how to present themselves within 30 sec. (Elevator Pitch); new tools they can use to find solutions to problems; how to use new digital content creating/editing platforms and applications.
