The main goals of the project implementation were to provide an enriching international experience to teachers and professional associates, as well as the active involvement of students in the implementation of project activities. The aim was to encourage intercultural exchange and improve the language skills of the employees, so the project aimed to contribute to the personal and professional development of the participants, providing them with an experience that can help build self-confidence, assertiveness, and other generic competencies.
Elementary School Vladimira Nazora Pazin has a main school and eight district schools and a music department. The school operates in the area of central Istria within a radius of 50 km. It is one of the largest elementary schools in the Republic of Croatia and is attended by about 1,200 students aged 7-14 who achieve notable results in sports competitions, languages and STEM fields, and LiDraNo. The implementation of this project aimed to introduce quality changes in the work of teachers and professional associates, applying what was learned and implementing innovative work methods such as project learning, flipped classrooms, ICT in teaching, and internalization of the institution. We intended to stimulate interest in international training, and innovative working methods in teaching and include them in the school's Development Plan as well as education about a responsible approach to environmental protection and awareness of one's own responsibility in protecting it. The school wanted to connect with other individuals and institutions in the local and European communities in order to strengthen the awareness that each individual can contribute to positive changes through this network. Through cooperation with other schools and organizations, we wanted to share the acquired knowledge and experience, thus creating an environment that will be stimulating for all participants.
