The outcomes we wanted to achieve with this project were: - to identify the concepts which make a company socially responsible as well as to identify the organizational parts of the company's structure - to describe the assignments and tasks done in a real company - to enable the students to independently create and implement a business plan - to strengthen linguistic and cultural competencies - to integrate ecological aspects of socially responsible business into the professional practice - to create new products/services using the books written off from the school library
The aim of IncludeMe PRO project was to enable the students of our school to do the professional practice abroad by implementing the "learning by doing" concept. The Croatian National Curriculum for the profession of economist does not oblige the students to have professional practice. This fact was the strongest incentive for us to apply for KA1 projects and seek the opportunities to conduct the students` practice abroad. The key was to provide high-quality professional practice for the students who voluntarily joined the school Cooperative. After participating in the mobility programme, the students were meant to share their experiences acquired at the real company with the future members of the Cooperative. The School Cooperative enables the students to get a sense of how the real companies conduct their business. The manner in which the Cooperative operates has been based on the subject Socially Responsible Business. Therefore, we wished for our students to have the opportunity of doing professional practice in a company that is experienced in socially responsible business. The objective was to learn how the organizations manage their business processes in order to positively affect the society.
