The goals of the project were: 1. application of modern technologies and work methods in the profession and compliance of the curriculum with the labor market. - train teachers from three different fields of study through job shadowing activities: agriculture, forestry and horticulture 2. improvement of students' professional competencies - enable students to acquire or improve skills that they do not have the opportunity to acquire in their home institution, and which they need in their vocation (use of drones, handling of a chainsaw, etc.) 3. development of ICT and language competencies of students and teachers - development of key skills necessary for successful personal and professional development 4. internationalization and competitiveness of the school - development of social and intercultural skills in a new environment and recognition of the school as modern and attractive. 5. personal and professional development of students and teachers - mastering new technologies and trends, increasing motivation, self-confidence and 21st century skills
We decided to apply for the project to improve and/or eliminate certain shortcomings we had noticed with SWOT analysis, such as insufficient application of modern European trends in practical teaching as a result of insufficient training of teachers to work with modern/ICT technologies and techniques in agriculture and forestry. Thus, students also do not acquire sufficient levels of knowledge and skills needed in the labor market or family farms. We wanted to enable students through their own training, as well as the training of teachers, to acquire skills that they currently do not have the opportunity to get in their school. Also, we noticed a lack of motivation among students, which needs to be developed with new approaches, especially in the professional field, along with active learning. They do not have the opportunity to acquire skills necessary for professional and personal growth, such as ICT, language, intercultural, transversal, etc., therefore, we aimed to improve them. We also wanted to arouse interest in vocational education, especially in the agricultural field, by increasing their attractiveness through modernization and the opportunities offered by the institution.
