The purpose of project application and the general goal of the CoLab project is to improve the existing professional curricula and improve the key competencies and skills of the target groups of students in the field of science and in the field of Graphic design and Digital media, in accordance with the needs of the labor market. The aim of the project is to improve existing and acquire new knowledge, skills and competencies of students through professional practice and increase their employability on the labor market. All those involved in the project, in addition to improving their professional competences through this mobility, had to improve their social and communication skills, improve their knowledge of foreign languages, improve their interpersonal skills, deepen their understanding of other cultures, and develop a sense of European citizenship and identity. It is planned that the participants will apply the acquired knowledge to the specific activities of the planned program in a real work environment, develop work habits, entrepreneurial spirit and a sense of professional responsibility, and build self-confidence and strengthen teamwork skills.
The School of Natural Sciences and Graphic Arts in ZD and RI and The School of Applied Arts and Design ZD planned to improve the knowledge, skills and competences of mobility participants. Chemical and environmental technicians are extremely important professions for the future, and it is necessary to ensure the development of the necessary competencies due to rapid changes in the direction of green and innovative technologies. Professions in the field of Graphic technology, audiovisual technologies and field of Applied arts are developing at a high speed, in disagreement with the development of technologies and programs that are carried out in member schools: Graphic editors-designers, Web designers, Media technicians, Graphic designers and Photography designers. The teaching process of these professions needs to be modernized with technologies and tools and that is sometimes not possible because of the lack of materials, specialized personnel and technology, and default programs curricula. With this project, we wanted to follow European trends in education and improve the quality of vocational education at the local, regional and national level. We also wanted to make new contacts for further successful cooperation.
