The aim of this project was to transfer innovations in the profession, to transfer innovations in learning and teaching as well as to promote innovations in the field of education and training. Such an approach provides our students with the opportunity to develop skills needed in the labor market, which, because of the rapid changes in the labor market, have not yet been included in vocational curricula. Due to the increase in the quality and effect of mobility, we extended the average duration of mobility compared to the previous project. With the help of partners coming from the public and private sectors, we wanted to contribute to the improvement of vocational education and training of students in the School of Economics in as many as 4 different vocational sectors. We wanted to achieve this not only by strengthening key sectoral competencies but also by learning foreign languages and digital skills. Our teachers were given the opportunity to improve the quality of the vocational education and training system and to adopt new work methodologies. Through the implementation of the project, we have achieved the principles of internationalization: excellence, transparency and equality, as well as security, and promoted the values of inclusion and diversity.
In accordance with the revised goals and principles of the Internationalization Strategy for the period 2016-2020 and internal development plans of Gospodarska škola, but also the needs of students and teachers,Gospodarska škola applied for the GiBajMo 5 project to strengthen its capacity and modernize. We believed that with this project we will increase the motivation of students to work and that in this way they will more easily achieve the set goals and learning outcomes. Participants of mobilities were able to master skills which they couldn't master in Gospodarska škola because these skills are not part of the curriculum, but they are necessary in the labor market. Through better positioning of the school, we want to attract new students and achieve positive enrollment of students in the first grade. With current students we wanted to achieve increased motivation to work. We also wanted to achieve an improvement in the learning process through teacher training. We are aware of the fact that the professions are advancing day by day and that teachers need to improve their lives in order to make the teaching they hold creative, innovative and interesting. The school was a holder of a VET charter, and is currently accredited. We already had a developed network of partners, which greatly facilitated the decision to apply for the project.
