Objectives

Within the framework of our project, we planned to implement six mobilities for teachers. Two of the mobility activities were two weeks long and four mobilities had a one-week duration. Two of the courses provided useful, practical and methodological refreshment for English language teachers. Two mobilities involved language development courses. One course was about school conflict management, bullying prevention, emotional intelligence, tolerance and community building. In order to operate our school more efficiently we observed the teaching model of Iceland, accumulated best practices which can be adapted to our institution. The course about up-to-date mathematics teaching for primary students provided the development of wide range of teaching tools. One of the aims of this project was to create a good atmosphere with the participants within the projectwork to organise a new creative team to cooperate on further projects.

Background

This project titled „Eager to work for excellence” was submitted by Dunakeszi Széchenyi István Általános Iskola. We wish to follow the path which has been started in 2014, and a clear proof of our complex and efficient work is the supported grants and successfully accomplished projects since then. The main aim was proceeding to internationalise our school as well as to widen professional skills and to develop language skills of our teachers. Our goal is to implement such methodological tools which help to prevent conflicts in the school. The secondary goal of this project was to involve beginner teachers, or the ones who had not participated on any mobilities before. We also intended to organise a new project management team to cooperate on further projects in the future.
