Objectives

The Pedagogy program of the institution formulates the vision of the institution: the operation of a school in which there is continuous interest, where teachers, students and parents are happy to work together for the development of children's mental, emotional, moral and physical health. It defines goals, tasks and tools for the realization of this vision. Among the goals are the acquisition of effective, independent learning methods and techniques, the development of information and communication culture in speech and writing, mother tongue, foreign language and digital competence, education in media awareness, education in problem-solving thinking, personality development, community awareness, healthy living, career orientation and receptiveness to the arts. The common goal is to preserve and further develop international relations and experiences. To this end, the institution wants to mobilize teachers to write, participate in, and disseminate further international applications within the institution and together with other schools in the district. The experiences, accumulated knowledge, and reports of the teachers participating in the project all serve these goals.

Background

This school has a tradition in Erasmus+ projects and they do not plan to put an end to this tradition. Two teachesr took part in this project in the UK. The title of the project was Teachers for a better Future. They wanted to emphasize the importance of Lifelong Learning. Taking part in this project was very instructive, useful and constructive. Their practical, professional-methodological knowledge improved a lot and also their cultural-historical accomplishment. In the break times and after the lectures there was a truly international atmosphere because there were no other Hungarian teachers, so they used only the English language to communicate. They all chose homestay as an accommodation form, so they could experience British everyday life and spoken English at their families. The whole school community, teachers and students also gained a lot thanks to these four mobilities because all knowledge and experience were made available for everyone with the help of inner knowledge sharing among colleagues, school website and dissemination during the school year. Even more, not only the teachers of Pannónia but teachers from other schools who came to dissemination event could learn from these mobilities.
