As I mentioned earlier, our aim was to implement this new educational programme as effectively and successfully as we could. This Complex Basic Programme closely related to the EU 2020 Strategy which aims to reduce the number of early school leaving and to make children get higher education level. Our school is against early school leaving and have taken part in a programme since 2017. Our rate of endangered students was 18 % in 2020, they might leave school, have their own children and finish their studies. In our opinion the implemented new educational methods, the change of attitude, the idea of a "Happy School", effective policies against early school leaving might give solution to this problem. On the other hand our aim was to increase the number of our registrant students and make our school more appreciated in our town and area.
Our school has been taking part in Erasmus+ projects since 2015, realising the possibility of improving the participants' knowledge, skills and different competences. We applied for this project after a new educational method had been introduced in our school. This was the Complex Basic Programme that focuses on the motivation and activity of students and making learning an experience for children. Our aim is to achive the title of "Élménysuli", where students get more success than failure and our school will be a kind of "Happy School". This programme is a complex system, which consists of a lot of things, e.g.using the new methods during the lessons, different kinds of extra lessons in the afternoons, "Your lesson" activities. With the help of this new method we will improve our students' different competences, creativity, critical thinking, communication and cooperative skills. Most of our colleagues have taken part in national courses and with the help of this project we wanted to gain wider approch to this programme. Our aim was to become more successful and effective in the implementation of Complex Basic Programme.
