Objectives

We wanted to achieve the implementation of the project with the following objectives: improving the quality of education, expanding modernization, getting closer to internationalization, digitization and its extension to the entire learning/teaching process, the formation and development of critical and algorithmic thinking in students and teachers, the development of foreign language competences and methodological renewal with innovative tools. Strengthening the competitiveness of education and training, the colleagues' participating in the training can work at an outstanding level in an international context and gain additional contacts, adapt new methods to the Hungarian education system and integrate them into the everyday life of their own school. Increasing the number of European collaborations and partners, expanding the network of contacts. The learning outcomes should be incorporated in the teaching-learning process, the institutional effects should be sustainable in the future. With a change in attitude, skills, knowledge and thinking, educators should be more prepared, more accepting and able to apply new assessment procedures.Students should be more motivated, decreasing the number of failures, dropouts would be ideal.

Background

Our Erasmus+ application is a tradition in order to ensure high-quality education. Vocational training is changing rapidly and the educators have to change and develop along with it. On the other hand, not only educators should participate in training courses abroad, but also other staff members, for whom there are much fewer opportunities for language or professional training. With Erasmus, we can ensure equal opportunities. It is necessary to keep up with the speed of ICT and the digital knowledge and all our co-workers need renewal. We also applied for methodological courses that raise the quality of the education of professional subjects, e.g.: there is no textbook for the new subject, tourism and hospitality, the support provides specific and quickly integrated practical knowledge transfer by completing the courses. We have many disadvanteged students, we found that we cannot maintain motivation and interest with traditional methods. We saw the solution in completing Game Based Learning methodology courses and sharing the acquired knowledge. There is a need for international forms of cooperation, getting to know new partners, exchanging ideas, during mobilities. Finally we could not have covered the trainings on our own cost.
