Our project was primarily designed to strengthen the competences of our staff, with the overarching aim of delivering tangible quality improvements to members of the community with closer and looser ties to our school. We believe that we educate with who we are - that is, that the work of education is a comprehensive process of slow construction, arising from the whole personality of the teacher. The project has strengthened this building process right down to the foundations. Deepening institutional internationalisation is also an important part of this renewal. We are convinced that this has also helped to increase student satisfaction and to improve staff retention, working conditions and motivation. With the project we have just completed, we wanted to deepen existing institutional innovations, so we aimed to improve the following areas: - Maintaining and strengthening the status of eco-schools - Maintaining and strengthening the status of Eco-school - Creating a positive and creative teaching environment - International partnership cooperation and project management - Possibilities for applying the Mindfullness method in schools
The title of our application was "Student-centred School Mobility Project in the SZIGNUM in Makó", the main aim of which was to strengthen the strategic and spiritual pillars of our school. These are: 1. to develop non-violent communication skills, 2. methodological innovation in English language teaching, 3. learning about and applying positive discipline, 4. environmental protection The implementation of the project was also seen as a good opportunity to meet our development needs, as the community of the Sisters of Notre Dame, the maintainer of the school, supports this dynamic strategy of path-finding and the needs of the school point in this direction. The school's teachers have been active participants in various national and international training courses in recent years, and this growing demand for mobility is greatly supported by the Erasmus+ programmes. The mobility that has taken place also brings the institution a good reputation. Parents are increasingly willing to send their children to us in larger numbers. In the future, we will start more Erasmus+ projects. We have managed to build up a wide network of contacts in the coursees of the project, so that we will have no problems finding partners to work with.
