Objectives

We wanted to provide the students with the opportunity to develop their foreign language skills and to apply the language knowledge level they have acquired at home in a foreign language environment. The purpose of organizing the internship was to develop their professional skills and personal competencies, and to give them the opportunity to try out their own learned profession in another country of the European Union, to find their way around a foreign environment, to communicate, to strengthen their problem-solving skills and to broaden their world view. The purpose of the opportunities planned for educators in the framework of mobilities was twofold. For foreign language teaching colleagues, the goal was to participate in trainings organized for language teachers, where they can learn useful methods for teaching in addition to renewing the use of the language. For those colleagues who had the level of language skills that enabled them to participate actively in methodological training, we supported their methodological renewing. And for those of our instructors who want to take advantage of the opportunity of training abroad, we wanted to provide them with the opportunity for language trainings, then they can take part in courses aimed at methodological innovation.

Background

We submitted our application with a dual purpose: on the one hand, to implement the professional practice of students in vocational education at a foreign host institution, which has been effectively implemented at our institution for years, and on the other hand, to renew the foreign methodology of the instructors. We submitted an application for teacher mobility for the first time, giving teachers the opportunity to participate in this kind of mobility and to renew their methodology.
