In the short term: - our students and staff to use foreign language literature, to be able to communicate with our foreign partners, to be open to other cultures, to move comfortably in the digital space - for our students, the digital web should be a space for knowledge acquisition, learning and community building - robotics should play a greater role in education - an active presence in eTwinning, School Education Gateway and EPALE - developing logical and problem-solving thinking through experiential learning and a stress-free classroom environment - an international partnership project with Colegio Losada (Vigo, Spain) - joint projects with the Colegio de la Asunción (Malaga, Spain) In the medium term: - our lower school students enter upper secondary school with well-established language and maths skills - perform better in the national competency tests - increase the number of students admitted to higher education institutions. In the long term: - to implement a personalised teaching and learning approach to accompany children from kindergarten to graduation, both physically and mentally, and in terms of knowledge - our graduates are able to work at a high level in the domestic workplace and in an international environment
The mobilities supported between 2016 and 2019 have provided opportunities for teachers to develop their foreign language competences, to receive professional development, to "de-barrier communication" and to learn experiential teaching methods, as more and more of our students and colleagues are faced with communication and learning situations in which a high level of key competences for lifelong learning is essential. We gained insights into the education systems of other European countries. However, in the fast-paced world of the 21st century, we can only remain competitive if we are part of the European education mainstream. So a step forward can be achieved by placing great emphasis on learning about the cultures of the peoples of Europe, on raising a creatively minded generation in a balanced environment, and on seeking and building international relations. We have assessed the current situation in each institutional unit. On this basis, and continuing the process of quality improvement and internationalisation, we identified the following areas for improvement for our project: A) LANGUAGE AND CULTURE B) PROBLEM SOLVING AND DIGITAL CREATIVITY C) "HAPPY SCHOOL" D) ON THE ROAD TO PARTNERSHIP
