Our goal is to get an internship for our students at a web development company that will enable them to achieve their goals. These are project-based application development, practicing professional English and developing other competencies that are the basis for successful university studies and building a successful career in the world of work. It is important that students gain domestic and foreign language experience in software development and operation, already at high school. By incorporating these experiences, the school can outline a vision for the students that presents the work and job opportunities of IT professionals more accurately. In addition, it strengthens the students' abilities, which are the basic expectations of employers in IT work areas.
The title of the project: Team working in developing the web applications in practice Nyíregyháza Vocational Training Center Széchenyi István Technical School and Student Hostel is outstanding in the field of IT training in Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg county, however, our students have few opportunities for professional practice, they cannot apply the knowledge acquired in theory in real working conditions. The market requires employees who can communicate in a foreign language, can read technical literature in English, are able to work on projects in a team, and have adequate motivation and perseverance. Our students get extensive professional training in the IT sector from the first grade, they have good foreign language competence, and they also learn professional IT English.
