We had many goals with the implementation of the project. These goals are multifaceted and can bring many benefits to students, teachers and our school. One of our most important goals was to enable our students to test themselves on the international stage. Unfortunately, most of them do not have a family background that would allow them to travel abroad, gain work experience. With this project, we wanted to give them this opportunity. They can try out how to apply the knowledge acquired at home in a foreign environment. An internship abroad shows them that work, trade and customer appreciation are still important in the world. They can learn about the wide range of learning and employment opportunities in the European Union and are encouraged to work abroad later. After studying abroad, their motivation to learn languages increases, they gain a sense of success and strive to improve their knowledge. One of our main goals was to increase the language skills of the students. In addition to gaining experience, we felt it was important to set a goal for us, to help them gain their inner motivation. Such an internship can give them a huge boost to expand their knowledge, learn foreign languages more diligently, and even help them find what they want to do after they have completed school. We wanted to expand their professional-practical knowledge by introducing them to the shop practices and customer management methods of other countries. Our goal was also to make our students more independent and to exercise independence, but not alone, but in a "protected environment" with teacher supervision. In addition, we wanted to establish international relations so that we could continue to provide internships abroad for our students. This increases the awareness of our school, makes us more attractive to our future students, and gives our students an advantage in the labour market with such a professional experience. We wanted to make the project a way to get to know a different culture and language. Broaden their horizons, be more confident, more open, more accepting.
It is important for our school that our students have as many experiences as possible. Part of our training is the classroom and practical knowledge. We wanted to give this experience to our students internationally. A successful foreign application gives our students, among other things, the opportunity to incorporate their previous classroom and practical experience into their daily lives on an international level. We wanted to connect the world of school and work for them, to make the curriculum realistic and to expand their professional knowledge. As a prospective trade professional, they will gain insight into the practices of one of Europe's most advanced commercial areas. We wanted to make this more connected with the practice of English, and to use English more and more confidently in everyday and professional environments. In addition, we had an important goal to establish long-term cultural, personal and working relations at international level. The students and teachers of our school have the opportunity to get to know the new side of their specialty and to develop their personal skills during the foreign practice. By broadening their horizons and increasing their self-confidence, they gain internal motivation, try themselves abroad, and gain longer-term international work experience. We wanted to develop intercultural awareness, to get to know the cultures of other peoples, to be open, accepting and tolerant. Through the program, our school will also be visible in Europe, and the competitiveness of our institution in Hungary will also be increased. We can provide new study environment for our students, thereby making our school attractive to applicants. After completing the program, students will be able to position themselves more easily and positively in the domestic and international labour market thanks to their professional, linguistic and personal development. Their personalities and professional knowledge become confident.
