Our aim was to provide the participants with a possibility to gain professional work experience abroad, to expand their professional and personal horizons and to improve their professional knowledge and foreign language communication skills as well as their mobility. Furthermore, our goal was to have a positive impact on the personal development of the participants, because according to our experiences, participating in the project makes the students more confident, independent and open. By implementing the project, we aimed to increase the attractiveness and recognition of our school and vocational training in general. Another important goal was to maintain and improve our international relationships.
First and foremost, we applied for this project so that we could create the opportunity for our students to participate in a professional internships abroad, which would contribute to their professional and personal development and increase their chances on the labour market. Furthermore, we wanted to implement the project because it has a positive effect on the entire institution, its atmosphere as well as on the motivation of students and teachers.
