Objectives

The aim of the project is to gain insight into the theoretical and practical education system of the host institution and to visit such partner institutions. The aim of each activity was, in addition to gaining inspirations, learning new practices and catalyzing the school’s better operation, to involve the participating colleagues in the international development of the school, to involve them more intensely in pedagogical modernization and to strengthen their motivation as well. All these experiences can then be incorporated into their teaching practices. In the case of students, we have aimed at expanding their professional experience and deepen their theoretical knowledge which can be later applied in practice. In addition to refreshing and expanding language skills, using the language more confidently was also a significant objective of the project in all cases of mobility programs. It was also important to strengthen our existing professional relationships and to establish new ones.

Background

With each mobility program it was decisive to strengthen and raise the teacher-instructor standard of work, which includes the teachers’ motivation, the improvement of their professional, methodological and personal competences, the improvement of the school itself. In the case of our employees, it was significant that they remain flexible and keep an open mind to changes. As for the students, the main aspect is to strengthen their already acquired foreign language knowledge and to expand their professional foreign language vocabulary. In their professional development it is also a principal expectation that they become familiar with the new technologies and procedures already applied abroad. Their reports on the knowledge so gained show that upon returning home, our students are more professionally aware, more dedicated and more confident both in terms of their profession and their personality. The newly learned procedures can make the professional toolkit of both teachers and students more colorful, and can render their professional knowledge more up-to-date.
